Book Now!

Back in December, Facebook announced that it was adding a set of call-to-action (CTA) buttons to business pages, so that they can further look to meet the objectives of their social media campaigns.

The reason for this impromptu post in mid-February is because they Mayvin Training CTA button showed up on our business Facebook page a couple of days ago and we’ve already put it to good use.

But before we show you how we’re using it, let’s look at the various CTA options that are available.

The CTA button itself is located right at the top of your business’s page on the cover photo (next to where people ‘like’ your page) and there are seven specific CTAs to choose from as follows:

  • Book Now
  • Contact Us
  • Use App
  • Play Game
  • Shop Now
  • Watch Video

Furthermore, the CTA button can be linked to any URL you like, making its use particularly versatile.

So how are we using it?

As you can see from the image above, we’ve not just setup our CTA button but also updated our cover photo to complement it further. Now, when someone visits our page, they are (hopefully) drawn to click the CTA button by the large cover photo behind it. This two-pronged attack will inevitably yield greater results than if the CTA button was just sat there alone.

We’ve chosen to utilise the ‘Book Now’ CTA and have it linking to our Social Media Marketing Workshop page where people can book their slot at our next event.

The great thing about the new CTA button is that it serves to highlight your page’s purpose and there’s no ambiguity about what you want your visitors to do. Also, the fact that it displays on both desktops/laptops and mobile devices make it even more powerful.

Has your CTA button showed up yet? If so, we’d love to hear how you’re using it in the comments section below.
