Twitter’s new account homepage gives a clear look at overall Twitter performance and its new quick promote feature will allow SMBs to get their updates in front of more people more easily.
As from yesterday, anyone logging on to analytics.twitter.com will be greeted with a new look homepage. A holistic view of all your tweet activity in one place, including:
How many times you’ve tweeted
- How many people have seen your tweets, visited your profile, followed your account and/or mentioned your username
- How many shares your tweets/links have received
- Your top tweets and followers per month
In addition to the redesign of the analytics homepage, Twitter have also announced a new quick promote feature aimed at small and medium-sized businesses, which will soon be available on Twitter profiles.
The Quick Promote tool was actually announced on the Twitter Advertising blog last month, but when it was launched it was only available via the analytics page. Now, however, it will be available to use on tweets pulled up directly from profiles.
Some business users have already got access, but if yours hasn’t been configured yet don’t worry. Twitter say that a global rollout will be happening over the next couple of weeks.
You can read more about the new Twitter Analytics homepage over on the Twitter Small Business Blog, where there’s even a video explaining more about the Quick Promote feature.
These new Twitter additions are great news for SMBs who want to see more clearly just how their Twitter advertising campaigns are performing. You can discover exactly which of your tweets are resonating with your audience and which are falling by the wayside unnoticed.
Amplifying your content and getting it in front of the right people at the right time has never been more important than it is today. Twitter realise this and it seems they’re doing everything they can to help SMBs wherever possible.
